The Asia Regional Flagship Course on Health System Strengthening and Sustainable Financing – The Challenge of Universal Health Coverage, jointly organized by the USAID, the World Bank, and ANHSS was held at the Le Meridien Angkor, Siem Reap, Cambodia, from 3 to 8 October, 2016. The event had 62 participants from Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Laos PDR, Thailand, East Timor, United States and Kyrgyz Republic. During the five days of intensive interaction with peers and faculty, participants apply tools and concepts to assess where their health systems are relative to their coverage goals, the determinants of progress and health system performance, and feasible policy options.
